Can i verify my identity with a passport?

Based on the article rams293 arrived here from, I’m assuming for an Apple Card Application. Apple’s pertinent support page only mentions Drivers License or State ID. I would recommend reaching out to Apple Support, they may be able to verify with a passport through another method.
