The critical alert notification is showing and I can’t reboot the phone or do anything on it. I’ve tried pressing and releasing both the volume up and down buttons and then the side button but nothing happens. I can click allow or don’t allow on critical alert notification but nothing happens.

I pressed and released the volume up and down buttons very quickly and it worked. Thank you very much for your help.
This worked for my Ipad as well!
