Money taken

Hi, I just brought 2 apple gift cards one £15 and the other £10, the first time I applied the £15 and apple took it straight away leaving me with £4.03 so I brought another one and instantly left me with £3 all I wanted to to was buy Apple Music but I seem to have been robbed. I also had no pending purchases so any help would be great
