eSim Dual Account Activation

I retired in Italy and use both Vodaphone (in Italy) and T-Mobile (in the USA). I purchased a new i-Phone 14+ with dual eSims. I was wondering if I can have the Vodaphone eSim (number) activated for Italy and the T-Mobile eSim (number) activated for USA on the same phone? So I only have to carry one phone?

The sole reason I keep the USA phone active is that many company's in the USA (including Social Security) use 2-Step verification and they do NOT accept Italian phone numbers.

To use two different carriers, your iPhone must be unlocked. Otherwise, both plans must be from the same carrier. If a CDMA carrier provides your first SIM, your second SIM won't support CDMA. Contact your carrier for more information.

If you have an enterprise or corporate cellular service plan, check with your company administrator to see if they support this feature.
