How to type the exponent sign itself?

Hi!

Does anyone know how on earth do I type the exponent sign (^) itself? I'm doing some school work using Matlab software and I just cannot find the prober exponent sign itself. It is not convenient every time copy paste the sign from somewhere.

By applying ctrl+cmnd+space I get many kinds of signs but not the exponent sign.

I've set my keyboard to finish qwerty but I do not find this exponent character i.e. american english keyboard.

Can anyone help me?

Cheers!

Hello HLindroos,

On a QWERTY Mac keyboard, shift + 6 will give you the "^" character.
