I am using the High Sierra Os, should I upgrade to a newer Os?

If your Mac is capable of being upgraded, yes, absolutely, upgrade to the latest version you can run.

High Sierra is no longer supported and hasn't been for several years now. It is no longer receiving security updates and application developers no longer support it.

What model Mac do you have?

Click on the  menu and select "About This Mac".

The description will contain a model year. What does it say?
