anyone having issues verifying their bank details

I have been placed on hold for literally 3 hours with Goldman Sachs to verify my external account only to be told there is a 30 minute wait at my bank and they won't wait. While I understand and appreciate the verification process is there another way to do this? I have a job as well and can't be on hold for ever

Let’s look at an alternative. Just for reference I set up my Chase, 5/3, Wells Fargo and several investment accounts in just a few minutes each. I went through my app or website for the respective bank and did the verification process. Accounts can push transfers and pull transfers. So, go to the account your want to transfer funds fron (push to Apple Savings) and verify that account through their app or website.

Typically the bank/financial institution will make two small deposits and then a withdrawal. This takes 1 to 3 days. Once you see the deposits you enter the amounts using their app or website and your Apple Savings account is instantly verified. Again, it’s a simple process and doesn’t require an hour or more on a call.

No offense, I understand the advantages of having accounts with local and national credit unions. However, all my experiences have been with larger banks and financial institutions. You may have to go through additional verification procedures with you credit union. It might we worth a short conversation with your local branch manger and see what the issue is. But, it may require a call with Goldman Sachs Apple Savings specialists. This hasn’t been my experience.

If you have an option of transferring funds from your credit union to a larger financial institution and then verifying through the process I outline previously, that would require less effort on your part. However, ultimately it may require an hour on the phone while the two financial institutions verify each other.

And I completely appreciate you taking the time to try to help me. Yes I did read your reply. Yes my account is apparently verified thru my bank but not goldman sachs. I can transfer money in to my Apple savings account but I can not get it back out. I keep getting a message on the app that says it needs to be verified thru Goldman Sachs. It was not intended to be the same question.
