All the features work for me, but I took the time to verify my external checking and savings accounts.

So, how do I pay a bill? Typically i add funds from Apple Savings account to Apple Cash. This transfer is near instant, as long as your Apple Cash account has been verified. Then I transfer the funds from Apple Cash to my Chase Bank checking account and pay bills from Chase account.

Transfers from a HYSA can experience delays for various reasons, so I prefer the move to Apple Cash, which is instant and fee free. But again, I’m not trying to use Apple Savings as a bill pay service. That’s not a good strategy over time (in my opinion) and could result in issues if you forget etc.

High Yield Savings Account (HYSA) are meant for accumulation of wealth, not liquidation and lack features like bill pay and other conveniences.

Now with that said, ACH transfers can be done. ACH transfers take 1 to 6 days, depending on weekends, holidays etc. Apple Savings does have routing and account numbers. If you can pay a bill that way, give it a try and see if it meets your needs.
