How can I add a new row that automatically has column formulas in it

Hi Gurus!

I have a spreadsheet with lots of formulae in it (Index match etc etc) every time I add more rows to the table they are blank and I have to copy the formulas in…. Is there a way of doing this automatically?

Many thanks

Nick

If the entire column has the "same" formula in it, new rows will automatically get the formula when adding rows at the bottom. I think it works even if it is only the last two rows that have the formula.

Adding rows in the middle of a table might get you an automatically populated formula but the other rows may no longer reference the cells you expect them to. It is not that Numbers is screwing it up, it just doesn't know what the user wants.

"Same" means if you were to put it in yourself you could do it by dragging down from the row above.
