I want download iTunes app on my MacBook Pro but I can't find a version work with it

I transferred my music from my old ipad over to my macbook air. But after it saves to the music app, I restart my macbook air and I open the music app. All my music in the muisc app disappeared.

But if you want to restore another device from you Mac using iTunes, if its not supported is there another specific app I can use?
