when a client asks for "constant bitrate" does that essentially mean to turn the bitrate up to the highest level like I did in the screenshot below?

yes I used the H.264 codec. basically the clients instructions just said: export settings 4K constant bitrate, so i'm assuming they meant the audio bitrate.
Audio is separate. It depends on the codec. Some video codecs can be CBR or VBR.
Is a constant bitrate in video achieved by turning the video bitrate all the way up? Similar to how I turned it to its maximum 50,000 kbps in the screenshot above?
There is no control for this in the current Compressor. What codec are you using? H264? The high data rate will certainly be your best option to give you the most consistent bit rate.
Strange they don’t specify a video as that and the format are usually the governing factors for what has to play it back.
