Since updating to Ventura, my Mail Junk mail has been inundated with Spam

Since updating to Ventura (maybe coincidental) my Apple Mail Junk mail has been inundated with Spam: really ghastly stuff, lol. I have changed my Apple ID password, my Telco password, blocked contacts, sent spam emails to "abuse@iCloud.com" but nothing works. I'm receiving over 30 a day, and even blocked contacts are reappearing. Any ideas how to fix this? I've never had anything like this before.

Can I assume by the above statement you are using nothing but a @iCloud.com as your email provider...?

otherwise I would not waste your time reporting to "abuse@iCloud.com"

I do see reference to "Telco"... if this is your email account/provider then reach out to support if something changed

Telco WebMail Server

https://www.telco.com/contactus/

If your mail client is the default Mail.app to retrieve your various accounts verify your Settings...

Mail.app>Settings>Junk Is Junk mail turned on(?)

Personally I turn off "Junk" and use a third party Spam Filter for direct control over spam—

I use the https://c-command.com/spamsieve/ Best one time purchase I ever made over 10 yr ago, with regular&timely updates...

there are others of course:
