Did the lastest Ventura Update (13.3.1) break VideoLAN's VLC?

This morning I was watching a handful of rips (.dvdmedia files) and all worked fine.

Ran the Ventura updater later that afternoon, went to launch the next 'disc' in a set and it won't launch.

Went back and recent rips are now not launching via VLC, including ones that worked just before the 13.3.1 update. (Even more odd, some older rips are launching fine.)

Anyone else encountering this?

VLC Version 3.0.18 seems to still be working fine in Ventura 13.3.1.

Other questions might affect you like, are you running those files from an external drive or internal drive?

Are you running any 3rd party utilities like CleanMyMac or any Anti-Virus software?

Are you attempting to view the files with other software running in the background?

Do you still have at least 15-20% free space on your internal drive?
