How come an android phone can let you add to a group text, even if there are Apple devices in the group, but IPhone can’t? Is this something you can work on?

How come Android phones can add to a group text even if there are Apple devices in the group, but iPhones can’t do the same if there are Android devices in the group? Is this something you’re working on? Can this be fixed? Creating new groups over & over to add someone is not customer friendly.

In Apple Messages you cannot add people to a group chat, ever. You also cannot if everyone has an iPhone. I can see why it would be nice to allow adding people to a previously existing chat. You could suggest this to Apple Product Feedback, like Carol B. suggests.
