Foreign Accent Symbols
I use an IPad. IPad’s do not have option keys. How do I type an accent symbol?

If using the onscreen keyboard, touch-and-hold the key for which an accent is required; you should should then see the available accented characters. Simply slide you finger to the required character, then lift your finger from the screen.
