FCP export won't complete (Export gets to 2% then completes & renders as an audio file)

Please post an EtreCheck report https://etrecheck.com giving the application Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security System Settings. Copy the report and use the Add Text button to paste the result into reply box. 

What FCP version is this? What is the media you're using?

Please give EtreCheck Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security and run a fresh report. The problem may be in the project itself if the failure is consistently in the same place. Try an export what began's about 10% into the project and see if that will export to the end or if it fails 2% after it starts.

After getting rid of them you need to trash FCP and download a fresh copy from the App Store.

Your external drives are full. 15% free space. One is so full its performance is likely effecting the whole system.

And also: how much free space on the system drive, and on the drive to which you are exporting?

Highly probably. That’s why we like to see EtreCheck reports because we see real numbers. System drive especially needs minimum 15% free space.
