two IPhone 13s, Apple CarPlay on 2020 Toyota. Navigator (Apple Maps) is loud an clear on one phone extremely low volume on the other. Not adjustable with either car volume control or phone volume when Navigator is talking. Both phones are IOS 16.3.1 Any ideas?.

Does this occur with both a wired connection and wireless? Is the volume only low when using the Maps app or is it low when playing music and/or taking incoming calls? This information can help us isolate the issue.

We'll help you out with this. To change the volume on notifications, you would need to change the volume while it is playing. In other words, when Siri tells you to "turn left at the next light" or similar, change the volume while Siri speaks. That should resolve this for you.

Thanks for the response. I have attempted to adjust the volume wall and navigator are speaking and it has no effect. One phone is normal volume while the second phone is barely audible. It seems to be with the phone.
