Under what circumstance are you getting this error...
what appliaction
what file type
what macOS
what are you doing
old issue, new issue what changed...?
Internal drive / external drive...
if a DiskUtility error(?) — macOS files are stored as data fork and resource fork. The resource fork xattr contains metadata like last modified time, creation date, etc. if a one off corrupt file I would simple ignore it.
you can always try running First Aid from Recovery: repair Volumes, then Container level , then drive level How to repair a Mac disk with Disk Utility - Apple Support
