My iPhone 13 hangs when incoming call I cannot slide to answer

We are all Apple users, like yourself, and have very little info. to go on.

We'd like to help, however.

You can try restarting your iPhone, which often puts thing back in order: How to: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Wondering which iOS version is installed on your iPhone 13.

If not the newest available, you may need to update your software.

About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says 16.3.1 is the newest.

To check if your iPhone is connected to your cellular plan,

go to Settings  > Cellular.

You might also want to check with your provider as you cannot answer incoming calls.

Make sure you iPhone is not over-heated.

You might need to press the power button

and see the calling screen to answer the call.

Eg: What happens if you:

unlock the phone and tap 

or, if you want:

You can have Siri announce incoming calls,

which you can accept or decline using your voice

If needed:

You can set up your iPhone to automatically answer calls:

Route and automatically answer calls on iPhone – Apple Support
