I bought an iPhone 14 pro a few weeks ago and would like to switch to the 14 pro max. Does anyone know if it is possible to return the device in any store and just pay the difference and take the pro version?

You can return your phone within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Then apply that refund towards the model you want.
If it's been more that 14 days, you will have to sell your phone.
