iCloud for windows does not work and will not accept my login.

spent 6 hours today with Apple phone support.
they tried very hard to solve the issue.
still not working!!!
why cannot the mighty Apple and Microsoft get their act together.
both blame the other.
Hi Starling76, did you get your issue resolved yet? I too had the same issue and after researching and educating myself of the security and specifications for MONTHSI finally was able to log in. What I did was not in any support form I have found so if you give me a few moments I will explain the steps I took.. some might be useless to the cause but they are the exact steps.
