The same thing. I bought an Atcom HDMI-HDMI cable and a Macaw Type-C/HDMI adapter to connect my Macbook Air m1 (macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)) to a TV with a wired connection instead of Bluetooth. When I plug the cable in - the MacBook screen changes the resolution to the optimized one for the TV, and the TV is shown in the list of screen mirroring devices, where I can choose different options. But the TV mirroring option doesn't look activated, and my TV shows the "No Signal" text. I thought the problem might be with the cable or adapter or their compatibility, and I was already going to return the purchased things. Still, for the last, I tried to connect my 12.9 5th generation iPad Pro to the TV with the same cable... And wow! A miracle! It's working! Then I joined my wife's MacBook air m1 with macOS Monterey 12.4. It also works.
It's strange and ...frustrating.
Don't know what to do... I don't want to deal with rolling back to a previous macOS version and reconfiguring all my apps to solve the issue.
