my dad gave me his old work iPad and I need help being able to remove it from find my iphone

The iPad is activation locked, and only the original owner can remove the lock. So I would contact your dad as he might have the credentials to unlock it. If not, He must ask his company to unlock the iPad. Apple won't unlock the iPad for you ,as you're not the original owner
