I tried the Security key C and it appeared to work, however , apple insists you have 2 keys so I will have to wait until I get the second key to complete the process. This key is ~$30, the 5 series keys are in the region of $70 each so it gets expensive....The 2 factor utilizing the key can be removed in settings, but do you need the key present to be able to remove the function? If not loss of a single key is not a big deal as long as you have access to the device you enabled it on.
