Apps themselves are not backed up to iCloud. No nothing to remove.

If you mean, preventing an app from saving data onto iCloud, go to Settings ➜ Account (top of settings) ➜ iCloud ➜ Apps Using iCloud and turn it off.

You can also go to Settings ➜ Account (top of settings) ➜ iCloud ➜ iCloud Backups ➜ Your iPhone ➜ App Name , and turn it off to prevent its data from being backed up to iCloud when the iPhone is backed up.
