Why do you receive Message Blocking is active? Here are some main causes:
- The contact number is in the block list: Perhaps, you have added the contact number to the block list by mistake. If so, it is impossible to send a message to that contact.
- If T-Mobile is your carrier then this issue happens because of an error with the short-codes that were set to block. The T-mobile support can solve the issue.
How do you resolve this issue?
- If this is happening with only one contact and not all contacts then check to see whether that number is blocked on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ Messages ➡️ Blocked Contacts: Ensure that the contact is NOT in that list.
- If this is happening with all SMS messages (Green Bubble) being sent out, then contact your carrier and they should be able to resolve this for you.
