Apple TV is frozen

Apple TV is on and displays all of my apps but is frozen. None of them will open. Tried resetting by holding down the Menu and TV screen button and that is not helping.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16

Try disconnecting the Apple TV from power, by simply pulling out the power cord from the back, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.

Could it be that the remote isn’t working? Can you navigate by moving the highlighted tile or button?

Try to restart just the remote, and/or pair the remote again to the Apple TV box, as described in the linked support document.
