As a pilot, operating a dog rescue (Desert Dog Aviation LLC), the multi-day precipitation depiction was very valuable in determining planned routes to pickup and deliver dogs. Now I only see a 12 hour prediction which is of no value for the upcoming week. Am I missing something or has Apple eliminated this feature?

Thanks but that is for a spot location. I was referring to the moving map. Very helpful when plotting a route to be planned in the future. The moving map now only shows 1 hour or 12 hours which is useless.

Apple's Weather app is not your only option. I did a quick search for "best dark sky alternatives" and found a number of articles. Here's one that gives some good suggestions (don't be put off by the site name):

Sorry. I should have specified. I’m thinking the data should still be available, I just can’t find it. On the map, there’s only two options.
