Group texts to Android not working

I had an iPhone 11 and transferred everything to a new iPhone 14 Pro. I have a group text with 3 iPhone users and 1 Android user. It was working with the iPhone 11, but when I tried to use an iMessage group text to them, it always said, “Not delivered” and I don’t get any texts from the group anymore (doesn’t show as an error to any of them).

I tried all of the online tips of updating, deleting, restarting, checking SMS settings, and resetting network settings. I tried messaging everyone individually and texts all worked, even with the Android user.

What can I do? It’s ridiculous!

Uncheck the message filter from unknown senders. And check the box group messaging

I’ll bet you have Verizon. They screwed up royally when configuring accounts for the iPhone 14 and devices running iOS 16. You need to call Verizon, as to speak to a senior advisor, and have them “resync” your MMS settings to the network.

Just wanted to add that I followed all the "normal" advice in the troubleshooting threads and this was the only thing that worked. Verizon was able to resync my MMS settings over chat so I didn't need to call in. Thank you for your answer!

I have AT&T and I'm having this issue. I recently had T-Mobile and an IPhone 11 and transferred services to an 14 pro max with AT&T. Do you think it's the same issue . I have called and nothing is working

Thank you so much! I do have Verizon! I was wondering if it was something on their end since I tried all of the iPhone fixes.

Thanks for the screenshots. Yep tried that. One of the first things I tried. Not sure why anyone would have group messages off, too.

Ok I called Verizon and told them exactly what you said. They fixed it. Thank you so much! It was a huge problem and I could text my work team. I owe you a coffee!

You called AT&T and had them reconnect it? I called Verizon and had them reconnect and it worked after a few tries on the same call.

It was definitely a disconnect with the cell phone carrier.
