Unable to log in to Apple TV app with valid username and ID

Just bought a new LG smart TV that supports Apple

TV. 43UQ9000PUD. The app is loaded and updated 12/8/2022. When I try to

sign in, it fails to verify. There is nothing wrong with the username or

password, I can login just fine on a computer, iPhone or

tablet. Just NOT the new TV. All the other smart TV apps, Neflix, HBO Max, Paramount, Disney, etc load, login and launch just fine. Apple TV is the only one that doesn't work. I am also unable to Air Play to this TV. other TV's in house work just fine.

For the issue with AirPlay not working, let's have you take the steps below to help clear up possible network issues:

1) Restart your router.

2) Forget the network from your iPhone and re-connect: How to forget a Wi-Fi network on iPhone, iPad, or Mac

3) Ensure the TV and iPhone are on the same network. The 2.4 GHz and 5GHz network names may be similar.

4) Unplug the Ethernet cable from the TV if connected.

5) If you're using a mesh network, disconnect the satellite routers and access points, so just the main router remains.

For assistance with the Apple TV+ sign in issue on your smart TV, or if the AirPlay behavior persists, continued assistance with Apple Support will be needed. They'll be best equipped to help investigate the issue further: Contact Apple Support

It says it is compatible right in the literature. Also on the side of the box it has a large picture proclaiming it is Apple TV ready. LG loaded the Apple TV app was preloaded on it right out of the box. Kinda hard to believe that the TV is not compatible! I was on the phone with Apple Support for an hour and a half. No resolution from them either. I gave them the model, serial even the iOS version & update date for the app software. Zero help from them.
