My phone says security lockout how do I fix this ?

It's important to understand "why" your phone says Security Lockout so you can avoid being locked out in the future.
Security Lockout appears when the wrong passcode is entered too many times. When that happens, all that you can do is erase the iPhone and reset it, so that you can set it up again.
If your iPhone is running iOS 15.2 or higher........you can use the instructions linked just below:
How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support
If your iPhone is not running iOS 15.2 or higher........please use the instructions linked below, but note that you must use a PC or Mac.

If you have a backup of the phone, you can use the backup to restore the data on the phone during the new setup.
Even though you are sure that you will not forget the new passcode that you select for the iPhone, it would be a good idea to write that down and keep it in a safe place in your desk, so you can avoid having to go through all of this again.
