SONY A80K won't let me sign in to Apple TV app

When I try to sign in with my Apple ID, the TV's Apple TV app says that "verification failed" even though the ID and password were typed in correctly. I'm stuck - please help!

Cannot sign in to Apple TV!! I have a 3-4 month old Sony Bravia Smart TV and can-NOT sign into Apple TV!!! I have changed my Apple password many, many times in order to do so, yet keep getting a “verification failed” each time. I know my Apple ID and password are correct because I can sing into the Apple TV app from my phone as well as other items that require my Apple ID. I reset the App and still get the “Sign In” or “Sign up” screen when I go back into the App and either get the “Create an account, then finish signing in on this device” or “sign in with remote”. I already HAVE an account..and then when I sign in with my remote, get “Verification failed”. I have gone to my Apple TV settings to try and sign in from there under Account settings..yet STILL the same result!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!!!

Can't log in to apple tv when using amazon 4k fire stick When I try to log in to the apple tv app using the 4k fire stick I get a Verification Failed error. I know I am entering my correct apple id and password.

It may have to do with the TV’s privacy settings. Try this:
