I want to buy more iCloud storage, but apple has a compromised and recently canceled debit card on file and won't let me change it to the new card or my existing credit card. what is the solution?

I want to buy more iCloud storage but the App Store has a compromised and recently canceled debit card on file and I'm unable to update to my current valid debit or credit cards. Are there any solutions.

I recently had an expired on card that I had to update on my Apple ID for purchases, but I had to completely remove the card and then re-add it. This article shows you more about removing a payment method: Remove a payment method from your Apple ID - Apple Support
