First see if your Mac is compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave.

If your Mac is compatible, then you can get various macOS installers from the links within this Apple article:

How to download macOS - Apple Support


I would recommend creating a bootable macOS USB installer so you have more options if something goes wrong during the upgrade.


Make sure to have a good backup before attempting any upgrades so you minimize the risk of data loss.
