The Trust Asset Store and the root certificates are a part of iOS and iPadOS.

Apple does not document the particular meaning of the Trust Asset Store term. It—along with a number that has incremented occasionally over the years, starting from 7—and the certificate store version, have been a part of the standard iPhone and iPad display starting from around iOS 13.

The root certificate store version does get documented, as does its associated root certificates.
