Time Machine backup chokes on a plist

Since I upgraded to Ventura (at least a week ago), every time Time Machine runs (hourly), I get a notification that reads, "Backup Not Completed / Time Machine couldn't back up to 'Time Machine'." When I click for more detail, I get the following information: "Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to 'Time Machine' / '/private/var/root/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist' could not be backed up."

I've tried a couple of things to attempt a fix, but so far nothing has brought about a different result. Any suggestions?
