Apple TV with my new fire stick continued to say verification failure.

We'd like to help get Apple TV working on your FireTVStick, so let's rule out some possible causes:

1. Have you been able to use Apple TV in the past on the same device, and if yes, when did this first start to occur?
2. Sometimes a restart resolves unexpected behavior. Have you already tried a restart of your device?
3. If you have other devices signed into the same Apple ID for the Apple TV subscription, do you have any issues on those devices?
4. Have you checked with Amazon Support regarding any possible updates available for your FireTVStick?

Also, resetting the Apple TV app might be a good troubleshooting step as well: Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support

I just checked again today and i finally had the QR Code on the login page for my 4k fire stick, managed to sign in with no problems.

I am having the identical issue. I have 2 other fire stick 4K and they are both working although haven’t logged out of them to try to login because I don’t want both to also Not work. Bought a new fire stick 4K and cannot login to Apple TV. Version 13.0.0 and FireOS up to date. Went to my LG tv and appletv app said it was logged out and the app needed an update so I updated, then logged into appletv no issues. To add I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck, keep getting the cannot login please try again later error on this firestick.

To add to this I also logged out of both my other firesticks that are on the same version 13.0.0 and was able to log back into the AppleTV app with no errors or issues on the first try so this is definitely related to a new device auth with AppleID account.

Also having same issue on 4k fireTVstick and only gives me option to manually log in. other sticks have no issue(tested today)

on older FireTV sticks it gives me the option to use QR scan on 4K i do not get this option.

Same issue here. New Firestick 4K. Fully up to date, v13.0.0 AppleTV app. 100% sure my password is correct as I can sign in on other devices fine with it. Tried all the usual resetting, reinstalling, cache-clearing stuff. Verification Failed message since middle of December.

Please prioritise an investigation/fix.

I purchased a 4K firestick on 1/28/23 and tried to login to my library & get the verification error. I’m surprised to see so much of this issue in different forums with no real solution.

I have the same problem. Has anyone heard of a fix yet?
