Problem closing sale items posts on Facebook marketplace

Hi there, I’m having trouble closing sale item posts on Facebook Marketplace with my new iPhone 14. When I tap the X to close a post it doesn’t work all the time. It seems as though the X is too close to the time icon and I’m almost taping on the time icon so it’s not registering my finger tap on the X. Sometimes it works if I press multiple times, sometimes it doesn’t. The only way I can consistently close a post is to drag it across the screen but that then takes me back to the very top of the whole long list of posted items which is very annoying. I have lodged a complaint with Apple. Any suggestions?

Suggest everyone affected go into ‘Help and Support’ on Facebook and then ‘Report A Problem’ select ‘Matketplace’ and add the problem. I have no other suggestion for getting this fixed.

Unfortunately, the app source code and the server source code is available only to Meta.

Usually with a competing platform, if the platform you are trying to use is both non-functional and non-responsive.

This is happening on my wife’s iPhone 14 Pro as well. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn’t fix it. Is it still happening to you?

Unfortunately that’s rarely helpful for customers, especially when it’s something like Facebook.

I had had this problem since I purchased the iphone 14 early November. I have looked but cannot find any information on a solution. It’s sucks!

No, new updates haven’t fixed it and I’ve logged another ‘problem using Facebook’ with Facebook as well. Maybe if you do the same, they might hear us!!!!
