I’ve used a PAC code to transfer my old number onto this new phone, my phone calling and texting works but my imessage is linked to the new number and it wont let me change it (I have no use or the new number as I’ve used the PAC code.) How do I fix this?

Set up imessage and facetime after change of number.
Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage
Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time
Restart the phone.
Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage, SMS, MMS
Settings, Messages, send & Receive, select your number which should now be there.
Settings, Face Time, Turn on Face Time
