iPhone billings

Why is my payment method declined? I don’t know what to do. Each time I put my card details, it reads payment method declined. Please help

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Thank you Katana San, the option it gives me is to update payment method. May be I don’t know what this means because each time I click it, nothing happens.

my payment method reads none and I’ve tried changing it to card but each time I put the card details, it reads ‘ payment method declined’ please help
