Safari Can't show the file "file name" in folder.

Every downloaded file, when clicked on "Show in Finder", responds with "Safari can’t show the file “filename” in the Finder. Safari can’t show the file “filename” in the Finder because the file has moved since you downloaded it."

Happened randomly on one day because before that I was working fine. Did not mess with the setting or anything like that in between. I can actually find the the file with Spotlight and after that it appears in Finder.

Hello Jevi91,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If you haven't already, we recommend that you quit and relaunch Safari and then test the issue again. This step can help with unexpected app behavior. Quit apps on Mac - Apple Support

If the issue persists, test while in safe mode. Starting in safe mode allows your Mac to run certain checks, remove caches, and prevent login items from automatically launching. This can isolate possible third party issues. Use the steps and information in the following resource for assistance with safe mode. How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Let us know the results. Be sure to include additional error messages and any other steps that you may have tried.

Have a nice day!
