How can I use the same sound for the ringtone and text tone for a certain person . ?

Just set the same tone for each … ring tone and text tone.

Yea I got that far but I just want 1 sound . The same sound for the calling & texting .
If you open that person’s contact info and tap Edit, you can scroll down to set a specific ring tone and text tone for that person. Be sure to tap Done when finished to save the changes.
