iPhone Unlocked

First, please donā€™t give me the unhelpful answer you gave someone else to go to settings and enable face id and passcode to unlock the phone.

Iā€™m not trying to unlock my phone.

Like the other guy, what I want to know is:

Why does my iPhone unlock itself in my back pocket when itā€™s not supposed to be able to do that without my face id and passcode?

On one occasion, my phone unlocked itself and made a long distance call to a business with an automated menu. My line was busy for hours without my knowledge.

On another occasion, my phone unlocked itself, somehow opened Netflix (even though I store all my icons), then proceeded to pick and play movies all night in my back pocket.

I went way over my data that night and had to argue for days with my provider to get them to remove the charges.

So, instead of telling me how to unlock my iPhone, tell me what Apple is doing to fix their amazing screw up.

Hey there,

As you mentioned if you are enabled the unlock iPhone with Face ID and also you setup a passcode for your iPhone this will be unexpected behavior, try this steps:

Reset your Face ID:

reset Face ID, then set it up again. Go to Settings, tap Face ID & Passcode, then tap Reset Face ID. Next tapĀ Set up Face IDĀ to set it up again

set the passcode again:

  1. go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
  2. Tap Turn Passcode On.
  3. Enter a six-digit passcode. OrĀ tap Passcode Options to switch to a four-digit numeric code, a custom numeric code, or a custom alphanumeric code.
  4. Enter your passcode again to confirm it and activate it.

Restart your iPhone:
