Screen Recording

I screen recorded something and it got lost in my files I looked through every where but I just can't find it and its taking up lots of storage

iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021, 2 ports)

you can try opening the screen recording controls using the keyboard shortcut "shift-command-5. and then choose "options".

and then check in the "save to" location to see where the recording was saved to.

Generally screen recordings are .mov files. Try to create a new screen recording and do a Save As. It may even point to where you saved the last video as well as the naming convention of the file. Devon Technologies Easy Find makes it easy to locate files if you know the exact portion of a name.
