Apple typically will not replace a battery in iPhone until it reaches a battery health of 80% or less. If you are selling the phone to someone and you want them to be able to get the battery replaced when it's time, depending on the model, reduce your price by the cost of an authentic Apple Battery repair, which is either $49 or $69, depending on model.
