"Unable to sign in. Try again or create an app password for this account." when adding icloud account to Outlook 365
I'm attempting to add my wife's icloud email account to Outlook 365 for the Mac on my MacBook Pro. I keep getting the error message: "Unable to sign in. Try again or create an app password for this account." I've tried using both the normal icloud password and I have created app-specific passwords without success. There was a posting within the community to try a workaround by using IMAP settings. That didn't work either. I've waited several days after changing the password and adding the app-specific password (as another community member suggested), but the error message persists. Any advice? Help!
