We buy two AirPods Pro 2 . Before we had 2 Pros Gen1 . Working on all 3 Samsung TVs 2020/2021 . Now the Gen2 will not working on any Samsung TV - Connecting okay - Volume Control Okay - But no Sound - try everything - not working. Just a millsecond sound scratch after connecting then silence .....

SOLUTION!!! (From another thread I found — thank you to the original poster 🙌🏼)
When connecting the airpods to the TV, they have a built in volume which is disconnected to the TV volume, and this defaults itself to minimum hence seeming like there's no sound coming through.
If you use the new airpods, and using the side of them increase the airpod volume directly (stroking the stem upwards) you will solve the problem!

I had this problem AirPod 2 not working w Bluetooth on Samsung TV very intermittent, sketchy or not working
for about seven months and then the Samsung authorized dealer. I bought the TV from told me to make sure the TV was in PCM audio mode
not auto mode
and I have not had a problem for two months leaving it in PCM audio mode.
My AirPods Pro 1s work fine however my AirPods Pro 2s have this same issue (audio distorted after fast fwd, changing apps etc). This says to me that it's the Pro 2s that are the issue.
I do not have a soundbar connected to this TV so do not have the 'no sound' issue that others are reporting. I saw a "fix" that involves turning off noise cancellation on the headphones, however this wouldn't work for me as I'm using my headphones in a noisy gym.
I thought this is the same issue with my sony walkman nw-a55
Mine also show up as AirPods - Find My on my Toshiba tv. The same happened with original firmware and the latest firmware.
Update: it’s craps out when an ad comes up on YouTube or when clicking on a new video, disconnecting and reconnecting fixes it but that’s gunna get annoying

Glad you found a solution. I tried PCM, Passthrough & Compressed audio formats on my Toshiba tv and all formats were the same, 1 second of loud volume then nothing.
I guess I’ll just return mine.

You’re the man! Totally worked, can’t believe I didn’t mess with the tv settings before just switching to my over ear Sony xm3’s and accepting it. Not that they’re bad, just prefer in ears
I returned mine and went back to the first gen, which continue to work perfectly.
I just started using my ps5 for YouTube and Netflix etc and no issues so far with the new AirPods Pro 2. So almost a perfect solution if u have a PlayStation
I tried that but it didn't work for me. The only thing that did work is the solution I posted, turning the headphone volume down to zero and then turning it up again.
