Hi I have an iMac that keeps looping back to login screen. How do I resolve this? I've tried a few fixes that I found on google but nothing has worked.

I turned it off and haven’t used for awhile. And when I used it again, I couldn’t login anymore, because it just keeps going back to login screen. I’ve tried the “home remedies” that I’ve found on google but to no avail. Thank you. btw it’s a model no.: A1224. Thanks.
It’s a model A1224. I forgot what OS though, sorry. I have tried a few fixes I found on google, like trying to go on safe mode but it wouldn’t. The “power off and on”. and a couple others. Thank you.
