Text messages deleted from Apple update.
The latest iOS update August 2022, deleted my text messages and I need to get them back.Help please.

My 10 years of experience of using iPhone 3GS to iPhone 12 Pro (nearly six devices) with various iOS updates says none of the data is touched during an iOS update process.
Now the question is where those messages are? Please check the following
- Have you changed your Apple ID on the device
- Are you sharing your Apple ID?
- Did you disable iCloud Messages after the iOS update?
