Can’t receive any 6 digit 2 factor authentication codes from any app including banks, social media on iOS 15.6.1 on 12 pro max on Verizon

I have seen other posts about problems getting this information on a phone that has been activated through Verizon. You need to check with them, as those messages are SMS, and are handled by your carrier, Verizon. Contact their support to ensure that your account has SMS/MMS plan activated on the account.
